Mark Posen is the Managing Director and Principal Consultant of RPC Telecom. He has significant professional experience in the satellite telecommunications industry dating back to 1983. Prior to going into the private consulting business, Mark Posen was an engineering manager with British Telecommunications PLC where he held a number of posts including Head of Satellite Systems Consulting Group and Satellites and Lines Development Advisor.
He is very experienced in the interference management, international and national regulation and frequency coordination of satellite telecommunications networks. He is an expert on the Radio Regulations and associated procedures of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and, on behalf of a number of national telecommunications administrations, has been responsible for making and coordinating ITU satellite filings and providing representation at an international level.
As Managing Director of RPC Telecommunications Limited, he has overseen the ongoing growth of the company since its formation in 1993 and has managed projects for a wide range of clients, contributing to RPC Telecommunications' international reputation in its field. Mark Posen is a Chartered Engineer, listed on the professional register of the UK Engineering Council and is a Corporate Member of the Institute of Engineering Technology.
