Omnisense's Series 500 is an enabling technology in which devices form peer-to-peer mesh networks determining relative positions and velocities using radio signals without pre-installed infrastructure. In combination with GPS, inertial and other techniques this leads to a unique self-organising positioning system with clear ROI benefits, that is useful in many situations. Omnisense sells physical products and can also license designs and IPR.
Omnisense’s relative positioning product is now developed and tested in a number of environments. The company is selling evaluation kits, staging trials, and has attracted interest from global OEMs and systems integrators to supply into a number of vertical markets.
