Canadian companies are regular attendees at Mobile World Congress and in 2010 there will be companies on a Canadian Pavilion as well as independent exhibitors throughout the show. Please note that the Canadian Pavilion has moved from Hall 2.1 to Hall 2 stands 2A97 and 2A108. In addition a number of events are planned for Wednesday 17th February, all held in Salon D near Hall 2. We invite Cambridge Wireless members to visit the Canadian Pavilion and participate in our events, especially the Canada-UK-Spain networking event detailed below.
The webpage and online registration system for Canada @ Mobile World Congress 2010 is now live and provides details of the Government of Canada and its partners' plans for this event, including:-

Canada – UK – Spain networking reception: What are the challenges that lie ahead for the wireless industry? This event will feature an interactive panel discussion on the future of mobile and be followed by the opportunity to network over refreshments. Confirmed panellists include Caroline Lewko, CEO of Canada's Wireless Industry Partnership (WIP), Mike Short, CTO of O2 Telefonica, Tanya Field, Director - Mobile Data Group, Telefonica Europe. The discussion will be moderated by Derek Kerton, Principal Analyst The Kerton Group (San Jose).
