Event: Conference on Spectrum Management and Dynamic Spectrum Access

xG Participation: xG Technology has been invited to be a featured speaker at this event. The conference will focus on examining the key needs, initiatives, opportunities and challenges facing Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and the services in implementing mobile wireless networks. xG will be speaking on the topic of cognitive radio networks in the context of tactical cellular systems and spectrum challenges and solutions. Among the key speakers already confirmed for the event are LTC John Moelter (US Army Signal Center), Dr. Douglas Sicker (Chief Technologist, FCC), Dr. Preston Marshall (ex- DARPA xG Program Manager), and Dr. Frank Konieczny, (CTO, US Air Force).
The conference is being sponsored by The American Institute of Engineers (AIE), a multi-industry association of engineers and scientists dedicated to promoting the interests of technical professionals via publications, educational events, representation before political organizations, and awards programs (including the Academy Hall of Fame for Engineers and Scientists).
