Why this web seminar is important

When considering the right measurement tools for oscilloscopes, probing is often an after-thought. Many engineers usually select a scope based on bandwidth, sample rate and channel count needs, and then worry about how to get the signal into the scope later. Selecting the right probe for your application and how you use the probe should be the first step toward reliable scope measurements.

There are a number of different types of oscilloscope probes you can choose from, but they fall into two major categories: passive and active probes. There are many different types of probes under each category, and each has an area where it performs best. When they're used properly the way they are designed to, you get the best results.

In this web seminar we will present the key criteria for you to use when selecting scope probes. You will also learn the advantages and tradeoffs between probe types, like passive, high speed single ended and differential, High Voltage, Current, etc. Also you will see some new probing innovations which can make your job easier.

Who should view this web seminar
