About the event

Manufacturing Excellence Conference Oct 1st University of Warwick

Taking place at the University of Warwick on October 1st, a unique feature of the conference is its ability to gain expert insight from industry thought leaders combined with the pragmatism of active manufacturing teams. In this way the conference delivers tangible benefits to delegates and show-cases excellence in UK manufacturing.

LEAN MAnufacturing WordleIn recent years NMI has championed the concepts of LEAN manufacturing with its members in response to global competition via a number of practical initiatives.

The manufacturing excellence conference extends that programme with four LEAN themed sessions: “Lean 2020”: Visions for Lean in the future “Lean Leadership”:

The role of the leader in delivering Lean “Lean in Action”: Case examples of successful implementation “Lean Beyond Production”: Case examples of how the principles of LEAN can be applied to other parts of the organisation Jason Speedy, Head of Manufacturing for Siemens at its award winning Congleton plant, has been confirmed as a keynote speaker and teams across a range of organisations including International Rectifier, Diodes, Landis + Gyr, Bourns, XAAR and Analog Devices will also be sharing their journeys to manufacturing excellence.
