Join us at the next Cambridge TECH for GOOD Meet Up on 25 April: TECH for GOOD + Digital Leadership.

Tech for Good is a meetup group for people interested in using technology to tackle social issues, from large-scale social change and inequalities, to local civic participation and community building. We bring together people with lived experience and understanding of social issues together with hackers, coders, developers and designers.

This session theme is – Digital Leadership.

Digital Leadership is about making the internet for everyone.  For that to happen, our public, civic and business leaders need to become digital leaders - not just so that they can manage specifically digital programmes and projects, but so that they can make sure their entire organisations are relevant and effective in a digital age.

Technology is not change itself; it enables the change that is so trans formative.   It is about a change of working, a change of culture – changes that are made possible by digital technology.

Hear from speakers Janet Hughes and James Cattell as we engage in a debate about Digital Leadership across the whole spectrum.

Read Janet Hughes' piece about modern Digital Leadership here –https://doteveryone.org.uk/blog/2017/02/being-an-effective-leader-in-a-digital-age-is-abou/

We are always planning the sessions in Cambridge for 2017 and beyond and we are happy to hear from previous attendees and others about what themes you would like to see discussed or speakers you would like to hear on the subject.

A quick review of the themes of last year shows that we have covered some impressive topics and of course there is room for some re-visiting as time progresses. Suggest a topic on our MeetUp page or start a dialogue with Tech for Good directly.
