Healthcare Diagnostics Business Leader: Cambridge Design Partnership - Cambridge

To achieve this we have a wide range of capabilities from science, through engineering to design.  Our expertise is delivered by teams who specialise in the requirements of four major industry sectors: Healthcare, Consumer Products, Clean Technology, and Industrial Systems.
 
We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated professional to develop our Healthcare Diagnostics business, one of our major industry sectors. As a key part of our team you will identify strategic areas suitable for marketing campaigns, and also work alone to generate leads by networking and attending conferences. You’ll spend much of your time arranging first meetings to nurture and qualify prospects, and assisting our experienced technical specialists to write proposals and close sales.

Requirements:

  • An excellent track record of selling new product development or technology consultancy contracts of £m value to both blue chip and start-up companies in the healthcare diagnostics sector
  • Proven ability to network efficiently and generate business over the phone, positively and successfully, for extended periods
  • At least 5 years’ experience of technical project leadership in healthcare sector
  • A positive temperament: happy to work both as part of a team, and solo
  • A 1st or 2:1 honours degree in a life science such as biochemistry, microbiology, molecular biology, immunology.
  • A willingness to travel internationally
