Job Description:
Position Summary The UI Engineer is responsible for user interface component deliverables including architectural integrity and significant user-interface design and coding.
It is a rare opportunity to participate in planning and development of a new product and you will be working closely with teams around the world. The interfaces are developed for multiple platforms and are primarily built using web technologies but some work may be required on desktop-based interfaces.
Key Responsibilities

Design and implementation of the XenClient user interfaces across multiple platforms

Uphold the XenClient user interface code quality and architectural integrity
-
Implementation of interfaces in order to communicate with other XenClient components
-
Day-to-day management of the user interface components and work scheduling
-
Issue triage
Requirements:
Mandatory
-
Be comfortable working in a cross-discipline environment, partnering with peers, senior management and external teams to align project deliverables and tasks

Good communication skills and the ability to work with the global XenClient team around the world
-
At least 2 years’ experience of application software development
-
Outstanding attention to detail with a passion to deliver high quality work

Experience in working to tight deadlines and able to manage own time and prioritize work accordingly

Self-driven with an ability to work independently

Comfortable in a wide range of languages and techniques

Demonstrable in depth knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript techniques including sprites, closures and Ajax
Desirable
-
Bachelor's degree, preferably in software engineering or computer science.

However, very strong candidates without an applicable degree will be considered

Experience of implementing user interfaces across multiple platforms using different technologies and tools

History of designing user interfaces, use cases, work flows and user experiences

Experience of Dojo, GWT or C#
