Principal Analyst - Wireless Networks

As a Principal Analyst (Wireless Networks), you will be our lead wireless networks and technologies analyst and will play a key role in setting the direction for our wireless telecoms research themes and initiatives, including the direct management and development of our wireless networks portfolio covering hot topics in the wireless networks and technologies market which are of the greatest commercial interest to Analysys Mason’s client base and to potential new clients.
Current areas of research include LTE strategies and investment, WiFi offload, wireless networks traffic forecasting, small cells/heterogeneous networks, SONs, and mobile backhaul; as well as key areas relating to spectrum management, refarming and valuation/auctions. Focusing on these themes you will produce original, engaging, and analytically robust research, and lead your team in delivering the kind of game-changing, thought-provoking analysis which our company is known for.
The team will also look to you to nurture a culture and environment that encourages innovation, continuous improvement and best practice. The suitable candidate will have deep experience as a wireless analyst and be a known name among our operator clients and in the industry. You must be able to draw on a detailed knowledge of the wireless networks and technologies market in Europe and internationally, combined with the commercial insight and flair to lead client thinking. you will have a demonstrated ability in developing and leveraging industry relationships and have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to engage C-level audiences.
We are also looking for proven experience in leading small analyst teams, delivering quality work to tight deadlines, modelling and forecasting, and contributing your expertise to market-focused consultancy engagements.
