Summary
You’ll be responsible for designing and building models of how humans drive so as to predict third party vehicle paths and driver actions, necessary to allow us to make localised decisions for our autonomous vehicle’s driving path and controlling the vehicle on that path.
Requirements
You’ll have hands-on experience of building probabilistic models and decision-making systems, not necessarily in autonomous vehicles. Familiarity with Markov decision processes (including POMDPs) and with probabilistic programming languages would be an advantage.
You’ll have proven software development experience using C/C++, Python, Scala or Java.
You’ll also have a 1st or upper 2nd class degree, or equivalent, in computer science, mathematics, engineering or physical sciences, with a strong mathematics content, from a top university.
Experience in autonomous vehicles or robotic control and familiarity with open source development platforms, such as Linux and Git, would be assets.
Benefits
Competitive salary, BUPA medical insurance and generous stock options.
