Just recently finished University? Ready to kick start your career as a software engineer? Our client based in the heart of Cambridge is looking for talented Graduate Software Developers to join their expanding team. As part of our Mobile and Automotive team you will be working on the design and implementation of exciting mobile and embedded projects across multiple software platforms and technologies. You must possess demonstrable programming and problem solving skills. A team player, you will be highly self-motivated and will enjoy considerable responsibility. The work is interesting and challenging, and you will be expected to make a full and significant contribution. There is scope for innovation and introducing new product ideas as well as career progression.
Essential Skills:
- have demonstrable experience of designing and developing software
- have strong C++ development skills
- have an understanding of network programming and multithreading,
- have excellent oral and written communication skills, and can demonstrate a high level of problem-solving skills
- are highly self-motivated and enjoy considerable responsibility with a focus on problem solving, attention to detail and delivering results
- have a good computer science or relevant degree (or equivalent qualification) to at least 2.1 level
As well as the above, if you have any of the following then we’d like to know about it!
- Experience of developing for mobile or embedded platforms
- Java development skills
