Zinwave invests in additional sales resource to support its rapidly expanding Asian market
New appointment demonstrates Zinwave’s commitment to existing resource and confirms its position as a major provider of DAS in-building wireless technology to the region
Zinwave, a leading provider of active wideband Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) for in-building and wireless coverage, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Law S Fook as its new sales director for the Asia Pacific region. Fook is based in Malaysia and will be representing the company at CommunicAsia, taking place at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore from 19 – 22 June. Zinwave is exhibiting at the event and its stand can be found in the UK pavilion, booth number BQ3-08.
The company is already experiencing huge demand for its patented technology as new mobile standards such as LTE are being rolled out across the region. This appointment confirms its commitment to existing partners and further strengthens its position as a major supplier of DAS systems in South East Asia.
Fook has more than 15 years’ experience in sales and business development for technology companies in the telecommunication industries. He has been successful in building market shares for companies like iBwave, Andrew and Ellipsiz and has extensive experience of the in-building wireless market.
He started his telecomms career with Dynamic Technologies, where he was Business Development Director. He set up and ran their regional offices in Thailand and Bangladesh and dealt with tier-1 operators and equipment vendors.
Prior to taking up the position of Sales Director APAC in Zinwave, Fook has successfully built significant market shares for iBwave Solutions Inc (Canada) in Australia, Taiwan, Japan, India, Philippines & Singapore.
Zinwave’s patented solution, The Zinwave 3000, supports multiple services and multiple carriers from one core infrastructure. It is the only true wideband active DAS on the market and covers all wireless frequencies between150 MHz and 2700 MHz on a single hardware platform.
