Joint DCKTN and Future Wide Area Wireless SIG, “Spectrum and the New Economy”

In this hard hitting full-day event, we take a dispassionate look at some of the issues troubling current and potential licensees of spectrum and suggest some possible solutions.

This is a joint event between Digital Communications Knowledge Transfer Network and the Future Wide Area Wireless SIG champions:
Geoff Varrall of RTT Programmes, Stirling Essex of CRFS Ltd and Graham Maile of Plextek .

After 20 years of cellular service its license renewal time – do governments have an unrealistic expectation of future spectral value, is spectrum being allocated and auctioned with unacceptable obligations, and is the auction process fatally flawed?

Many operators are still years away from achieving a return on their 3G license investments – some likely never will.

This inevitably sours investor sentiment and calls into question some of the present valuations being placed on refarmed and relicensed spectrum.

Spectrum is a key issue facing the industry – come and listen to the leaders in the field debating the topic!

Cambridge Wireless is delighted to be working with DCKTN on such an initiative. REGISTER NOW! to secure your place. Click here to view Agenda
