DRIVING GROWTH THROUGH EFFECTIVE KNOWLEDGE SHARING
CW is an exciting ecosystem for technology companies and organisations involved in the connected world. Through a busy calendar of events, we stimulate debate and collaboration to ensure members are getting the most from their membership. Our aim is to harness and share knowledge, through expert industry speakers, a comprehensive resources library and access to thought leaders, there is quality, relevant content at your fingertips.
Why should I join?
Knowledge is power
The power of face to face connections should not be underestimated! Indeed, any meeting or gathering of people with a range of technology and business backgrounds is incredibly valuable. Often at a CW event, a start-up will connect with a multinational, or a software delegate will have a ‘light-bulb’ moment with a hardware expert. It’s these encounters that demonstrate the power of knowledge sharing.
Personal career development
CW events provide a great opportunity for those just starting out in their career to network with industry people and better develop their understanding of the field they’re in. Although the events aren’t formally accredited, we know from event feedback how important it is to hear from industry speakers and discuss topics freely, in a relaxed environment.
Hear from industry experts
Our events are shaped and driven by special interest group (SIG) champions and committees formed of industry professionals. They work hard to source high quality experts to speak from the sector and beyond. Feedback from the membership is taken into account after every event, which means that before we invite speakers to the CW stage there has been much thought and debate.
Discussions that inspire change
The SIG (special interest groups) events primary purpose is to provide members with dynamic forums to network with peers, track the latest technology and business trends, explore new business opportunities, and position their organisations in key market sectors. It’s the numerous online and offline discussions that happen around the SIGs that drive change and this is bolstered by the memberships strength in numbers.
Learning is a lifelong process, and is best carrier out with a combination of different modes such as books, teaching and on the job. CW provides another valuable type of learning, with events curated by members to delve deeper in to new areas and technologies or looking beyond the industry conventions and hype, providing room for discussion and debate.
