Through the work of the report it has been possible to bring together organisations from a number of the UK’s leading cities to exchange innovations, policies and issues with a view to bring change to service delivery and improving the environment for citizens.
The aim of this full day event is to exchange and share initiatives, plans, opportunities and experiences with other cities and the Technology Strategy Board’s Connected Digital Economy Catapult. To engage with the SME and academic R&D community on ways of developing new services across multiple sectors based on Future Internet principles of shared and open data and to publicise the <b>€80 Million Euros available exclusively for SMEs from the EU Commission to develop FI products and services
ICT KTN has recently published a second Future Internet report, this time looking at the opportunities and issues around the development of converged services based on shared data from a demand side perspective. Through the work of the report it has been possible to bring together organisations from leading cities in the UK to exchange innovations, policies and issues with a view to bring change to service delivery and improving the environment for citizens.
The delivery of these advanced convergent services, based on sharing data from multiple providers and across sectors to build capability and solutions for 21st century societal challenges, will be dependent on teamwork between the public sector, SMEs and the academic community. This event will be an opportunity for these organisations to network and develop collaborative projects.
Our aim is to exchange and share initiatives, plans, opportunities and experiences with other cities and the Technology Strategy Board’s Connected Digital Economy Catapult. To engage with the SME and academic R&D community on ways of developing new services across multiple sectors based on Future Internet principles of shared and open data and to publicise the €80 Million Euros available exclusively for SMEs from the EU Commission to develop FI products and services.
