About the event

If you’re a start-up with growth potential, register for this free, intensive, one-day workshop.

Delivered by experts with direct experience, the workshop provides the practical tools to move ahead with confidence and speed. The approach is dynamic, critical and goal-oriented. During the workshop, you’ll create a presentation that develops and encapsulates all aspects of your business. This can be used for investor pitching, brain-storming and project development.

It is an intensive and active day’s work and you’ll go away with a solid foundation for future action. You’ll also be assigned your own free International Trade Adviser by UKTI, to help you access funds for expansion and work with you on strategy and a concrete action plan.

All sectors are eligible, including digital media, ICT, games, life sciences and high-end engineering. Developed by John Marshall, Richard Leinfellner and Martin Rigby on behalf of UKTI East, the workshops focuses on: finding investment, building your company and going to market.

Previous workshop participants have successfully found investment and are growing fast. UKTI International Trade Advisor John Marshall, who is leading the project, said: ‘We are eager to support start-ups with global potential. We’ve developed this intense workshop to ensure start-up founders are fully prepared for rapid growth and have a road-map to success. We need to hear from people across the region who’ll be the next generation of business success stories.’
