Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) as one of the core technology platform for IoT plays a key role on the recent development of “smart things” over a wide social and industrial sectors, from “smart wearable” to “smart home” to “smart cities”, from “smart Labs” to “smart factories”.
The WSNs technology has been an essential technology for the development of many intelligent systems in development in modern and future, covering wide range applications from military, industry, healthcare, to social and infrastructure management, e.g. smart factory, telehealth/ telecare, smart city, etc.
In this workshop we aim at bring together the user community, WSNs providers, and WSNs research community in urban living and health sectors, to sharing their knowledge on challenges, technology needs, and technology in development, and to identify news opportunities important to the WSNs businesses in the UK.
We also hope the workshop will help to generate synergy in promoting knowledge transfer between researchers and industry users.
