The purpose of this event will be to:
- Present information on the range of European funding calls
- Learn from case studies of active projects in these areas
- Present practical aspects on 'How to do it'
Background to Event
If you run a business or are an academic brimming with innovative ideas you can now take advantage of the largest ever EU Research and Innovation funding programme. With the emphasis on excellent science, industrial leadership and tackling societal challenges, Horizon 2020's goal is to ensure Europe produces world-class science, removes barriers to innovation and makes it easier for the public and private sectors to work together in delivering innovation.

Outline Agenda
There will be presentations from the European Commission, UK NCP for ICT, KTN, EEN and others. You will be able to get advice on applications and guidance on where applicants can go wrong.
