Legal SIG event - 'Battle of the Terms: Negotiating a Series A Term Sheet'

Brought to you by CW (Cambridge Wireless)

Are you a start-up or entrepreneur seeking investment? Need free legal advice on raising venture capital? CW Founder members’ Bird & Bird will provide an overview of the operative provisions of a typical series A term sheet as well as opportunities for active participation in the negotiation process

About the event

This workshop will incorporate active participation in a term sheet negotiation session where participants will be allocated into teams with a Bird & Bird lawyer to role-play either a typical start-up company or an investor in negotiation of a term sheet. The aim of the session is to highlight key considerations from the company and investor side and to demonstrate reasonable market standards. After the workshop there will be networking over drinks.
