Following the success of our two previous virtual recruitment events this year. Cambridge Network is back to bring you another full day of recruitment. We are currently building this event and will send you regular updates as companies join to "exhibit".

About the event

Our Cambridge Network virtual jobs and careers fair is the perfect way to connect with employers and careers experts.

We have an interesting and packed day of recruitment planned for you. Including a virtual panel of recruitment experts/careers and life coaches, on hand to answer any of your careers and job search related questions. A great opportunity to really find out what is going on in the jobs market right now, and how to navigate these challenging times as a job seeker. We are also joined by growing company Audiens showcasing their company growth plans and current vacancies, followed by an afternoon workshop with Anne Bailey CEO of Form the Future on volunteering.

The full agenda and timings are below. You will receive two Zoom links a few days before the event, one for the morning session and one for the afternoon session. We hope that you will join us all day, however please feel free to join just the sessions that interest you.

Agenda

11 am - 11.10 am - Claire Angus, Head of Recruitment Gateway at Cambridge Network. Introduction and a run-through of the day's event.

11.10 am - 12.10 pm - Our expert panel will lead a discussion and Q&A on careers, talking specifically about the current jobs market. This will be an interactive session with lots of time for you to ask questions, so make sure you come armed with a list! Maybe you would like to ask about how to stand out as an applicant in a competitive jobs market? How do you keep motivated when job searching? How to change career completely? Our panel will consist of Claire Angus- Head of Recruitment gateway at Cambridge Network, Katherine Wiid - Recruitment & Retention, Career Management & Coach from Career Ambitions, Ulrich Seega - Talent Expert from SANDPartners and Sheila McDerment - Business Phycologist & Coach MC Works Ltd.

12. 10pm - 12. 40pm - Virtual Lunch break

12.40pm - 1.10pm - Company presentation by Will Coldwell, recruiting for Audiens.

Audiens are going through a period of growth, and are looking for candidates for these live roles across all areas of their business; Sales Director - Financial Services, Sales Director - Utilities, Sales Director - Education, Sales Director - Retail, Sales Director - Charities, Sales Director - Telco and Product Manager.

1.10pm 1.30pm - Virtual Coffee Break

1.30pm 3pm - Workshop with Anne Bailey, CEO of Form the Future - The Benefits of Giving Back

“Volunteering for a charity or project that you believe in can be incredibly beneficial, especially when going through a major career change. You gain the opportunity to feel part of a bigger community, gain new skills and contacts which all have a positive impact on your mental health and these experiences can be included in your CV and LinkedIn profile. Anne Bailey, CEO of Form the Future leads this interactive webinar: “The Benefits of Giving Back “, that will help you identify volunteering opportunities right for you and learn how to get started.

3.30pm - 4pm - Summary, final Q&A and close
