The Enterprise Europe Network, supported by Innovate UK, has opened a Global Business Accelerator Programme including a company visit to Toronto for companies in the Agri Tech industry. The programme includes a pitch training and briefing event in addition to post-visit support.
Delegates will have the opportunity to meet key industry stakeholders, potential commercial and knowledge transfer partners based in the Toronto and Guelph area for 5 days.
WHY TORONTO?
The agri-tech landscape has evolved significantly in recent years. As the sector expands and continues to gain momentum as a critical industry for a sustainable future, Canada is attracting innovation and investment across many of its provinces. Ontario is the home to a internationally-recognized cluster of agricultural innovation companies dedicated to enhancing the research, development and commercialisation of ground-breaking technologies.
GUELPH
The internationally-recognised University of Guelph (an hour from Toronto) provides world-class Agri-Tech development
and R&D through the Catalyst Centre. Guelph is surrounded by a concentration of leading-edge laboratories, industry and producer organisations, major companies and the HQ of the Ontario Ministry of Food and Rural Affairs.

This company visit is part of Innovate UK’s Global Business Accelerator Programme. For approved companies, Enterprise Europe Network will organise and fund flights, four nights’ accommodation and meals. One representative per company.
