About the event

Impact beyond 5G Connectivity in Horizon Europe is taking place online 4 November, 2021 between 10h30 – 12h30 CET (9h30 UK time).

organised by the Department for International Trade and the British Embassy in Barcelona, Spain, the workshop will open with an introduction by Scott Bailey, Head of Telecoms Diversification for DCMS; a keynote from Colin Willcock, chair of 5G-IA discussing current and future 5G/6G calls; followed by a panel discussion led by i2Cat with stakeholders from the UK, Spain, and Germany, including Telefonica, University of Bristol, Samsung UK, and Deutsche Telecom.

We expect this will raise a fantastic debate and hopefully create new connections for collaboration within the Horizon Europe framework.  In order to facilitate open discussion, participation is open to a limited number of delegates whose details will be shared with the audience.

To follow-up on these conversations, we will be organizing a face2face 5G networking breakfast during Mobile World Congress 2022 in Barcelona. We hope all participants can attend and expect to count on the participation of the European Commission.
