Lunch and Learn: Vestd - sharing equity

Brought to you by Cambridge Network

There are many reasons a business might choose to do more with its equity. Giving some of the shares in your business to your team can align interests and give them real ‘skin in the game’.

Registration for this event is now closed.

About the event

Our speaker, Ifty Nasir, CEO and Founder of Vestd, will be at the Hauser Forum to give practical advice on how you can share your equity simply, affordably and safely while avoiding the paperwork, high costs and headaches.

The reason why you're considering whether or not to share ownership will be unique to your business, and at Vestd (https://vestd.com/) we've worked with a range of businesses, from small startups to established companies with many employees and complex structures. People turn to Vestd because the manual and traditional systems of share schemes currently in place can be off-putting.

The process of giving or receiving shares in a private limited company was extremely cumbersome, expensive and confusing!

said one of our customers.

At Vestd’s mission is to make distributing equity simple and affordable, as well as helping businesses stay compliant and manage their equity efficiently. Their online platform gets rid of the time-consuming manual admin processes and makes giving shares to easy and tax efficient.  Shares can also be exchanged for investment during a fundraising round.

Agenda:

  • 12.00pm:   Registration and networking over coffee - please feel free to bring your own lunch!
  • 12.30pm:   Speaker:  Ifty Nasir, co-founder, Vestd
  • 1.30pm:     Further networking
  • 2.00pm:     Event close

About Vestd:

Vestd turns equity into an easy-to-distribute currency that helps people and businesses invest in each other – the ‘equity economy’. But we’re much more than just a platform for distributing equity.  We’re a way for business founders and owners to distribute their equity to loyal team members as a reward for their hard work and as an incentive to stay with the business for the long haul. We’re a way for businesses to reward customers for their advocacy, early adoption and as an incentive to try their product or service.

Vestd creates opportunities for you to distribute as much (or as little) of your equity as you want, to who you want, when you want and for your own reasons. We just help you make it happen quickly, painlessly and much more cheaply than by employing lots of lawyers and accountants!  https://vestd.com/about/
