About the event

The seminar, which will take place from 4.00 – 7.00pm on Tuesday 16 October, is specifically targeted at those working in the technology transfer field.

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask specific questions about their own situation and there will be plenty of time for networking over drinks and canapés.

Topics covered will include:

  • Judging when and what to file – weighing up the balance of support and scope of claim. Considering strategies for addressing the new hurdle of plausibility.
  • Changes to patent fees at the UK IPO – Unravelling the new fee structure for GB patent applications. Practical strategies to save money in tech transfer.
  • Don’t panic! – Missed deadlines, inventor disclosure and restoration of priority. Pragmatic solutions for tech transfer.

Who should attend?
Anybody working in technology transfer organisations or university spinouts, and other university-based scientists, inventors or entrepreneurs.
