About the event

St John’s Innovation Centre is inviting start-ups, entrepreneurs and industry leaders for the fifth event in a SJIC Sundowners series created for the Cambridge tech and enterprise cluster. SJIC Sundowners is a series of relaxed, late afternoon events with entrepreneurs, founders, investors and inspiring people, designed to exchange know-how, take risks and drive change.

St John’s Innovation Centre is delighted to team up with Silicon Valley Bank to deliver an insightful session on capital raising for early and growth stage technology companies.

The workshop will provide an overview of the UK Venture Capital market trends with a focus on Cambridge ecosystem, delve into the equity fundraising process and provide a platform to understand when venture debt should be considered. All participating companies will be invited to share their experiences and to discuss issues they are currently facing in their fundraising journeys.
