Storytelling & PR for your Business

Brought to you by Allia

Crafting your content and reaching the holy grail of journalistic and social media attention. FREE workshop funded by Allia, open to all.

About the event

To be successful at securing press coverage about your organisation, you need a good story to tell.

With hundreds of other brands all vying for a journalist’s attention, plain, dry, boring facts just aren’t going to cut it. This workshop will help you understand the type of stories that the press are looking for, and how to create a narrative that will get you seen and heard.

Becky Slack has 20 years’ experience within the media industry, including 15 as a journalist. She has worked across both b2b and b2c titles, in print, digital and broadcast formats, focusing on topics ranging from business, charity and finance, through to politics and civil service, through to women’s health and lifestyle. She also runs a PR and comms agency that works specifically with small to medium-sized charities and business, helping them reach their target audiences.
