Who is Carol Cheung?

Carol Cheung is an Investment Associate at Cambridge Innovation Capital, an investment fund that invests in high-growth technology companies within the Cambridge cluster region. Prior to working for CIC, Carol worked in a variety of roles at several early-stage tech companies, most recently as Commercial Director of Speechmatics, a Cambridge-based speech recognition startup. Carol has a background in financial analysis.

You get a private dining experience with a knowledgeable speaker, 2 course dinner with wine or 2 soft drinks plus highly curated and relevant crowd. This is a dinner, not a dropin event, so we ask that guests turn up on time and don’t leave until after the Q&A.  Most people buy a package of 3 dinners, which works out at £47 per dinner. Carol Cheung is an Investment Associate at Cambridge Innovation Capital, an investment fund that invests in high-growth technology companies within the Cambridge cluster region. Prior to working for CIC, Carol worked in a variety of roles at several early-stage tech companies, most recently as Commercial Director of Speechmatics, a Cambridge-based speech recognition startup. Carol has a background in financial analysis, holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, gained an MBA from the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School and is a CFA charterholder. CIC combines a unique relationship with the University of Cambridge with deep financial and industry links to support rapidly growing intellectual property rich companies in the Cambridge Cluster. The company is committed to building leading businesses from brilliant technologies, with the benefit of some of the most influential figures in the sector and a patient capital structure.
