Brought to you by Cambridge Wireless

Registration for this event is now closed.

About the event

This 1hr workshop is free and open to all.

Building a successful company in the current landscape has multiple elements, but few are as important as the ability of your business to adapt to a post-pandemic working environment.

To support you in finding start-up success in 2021, the CW Business Group is running a free, one-hour immersive workshop which will give you advice on:

  • Creating the right culture for your employees. With the advent of remote teams most organisations will need to create a flexible culture for success that boosts both performance and staff satisfaction. The need to get this right is key to staff retention in the future.
  • Adapting to new models for engaging with your customers. The rules of engagement with your customers and clients has changed with new models for marketing and sales. Understanding and creating strategies to address these is key for your long-term success.
  • Access to funding. Exploring the opportunities and challenges for successfully securing funding for your commercial growth.

This online session will be in the form of facilitated roundtables / breakout discussions, with the expectation that delegates will contribute their own experiences, thoughts and advice as part of the discussion.  The CW Business SIG Champions are leading the session:

  • Julia Gwilt - Partner, Appleyard Lees IP LLP
  • Collette Johnson - Redgate
  • Vic Mistry - Head of Innovation Partnerships, Ixion Holding
  • Mike Price - Chair and Owner, MPA
  • Toby Young - Partner, Bailey Fisher Executive Search
  • Mark Vedel, Founder and Partner, INSCALE

Participants will have the opportunity to discuss two of the three topics in the hour session, and you will be asked to confirm your preference at registration.

We help tech companies build their software engineering team in our locations: Lisbon, Kiev, Skopje and Kuala Lumpur. The team is hired for you and only works for you. It is like having your own employees, just that we just take care of the hassle. We recruit the team based on your requirements. You approve each team member that joins your team. We provide office space, meeting rooms, IT infrastructure, HR and support in remote development. We never move team members to other clients, so you won’t lose the knowledge in your team. It is a long-term engagement designed to grow your core development capacity. You can transfer the team to your own employment any time. This protects your investment and makes future funding easier. Our clients include Napier, Blue Prism, Reveal Media, Oodle, Signicat, Sbanken, SEB Bank, Danske Bank, PwC, Intelliflo, Adform and Sitecore.
