Apps, gadgets, gizmos, devices and more! These are technologies of the future that shape the world we live in. We aim to give consumers an experience that will improve all areas of their lives. Work, entertainment, rest and play; everyone is a user on some level. And, as consumers change, so must technology.
This evening event will take a look at the developments in these areas and how they are changing for the future. The next generation of IT innovators are actively involved in the start-up scene, they are avid users of social media and they are more connected than ever before. The Future Technologies SIG is run by a cohort of young millennial technology enthusiasts and aims to unite new generation techies with existing tech aficionados.
Taking place at the start-up hub of London, Google Campus, the event will have a strong focus on networking, ending with beers and pizzas for the delegates to relax over conversation about the next generation technologies.
Speakers will be using the 'PechaKucha' style of presenting, where slides are shown for a maximum of 20 seconds each, leading to fast paced and interesting inputs. Speakers include:
- Steve Mayger, Operations Manager, Pedal Power Transport
- Tom Carter, Co-founder, Ultrahaptics
- Rob Bishop, Student, Imperial College London
- Jurgen Van Gael, Data Science Director, Rangespan Ltd
- Noel Welsh, Founder, Myna
- Mark Longstaff, Sales Director, Spigit
- Jeremy Chatfield, Lead Consultant, Mantis Web Marketing
- Rob Cowell, International Business Systems Manager, International IT, Live Nation Entertainment
- Zahid Ghadialy, Managing Director/CTO, eXplanoTech
