About the group

Bringing technology companies together to increase collaboration and build greater business success.

The CW Business Special Interest Group (SIG) has been formed to support technology companies in all aspects of business strategy with the key aim of helping businesses exploit their commercial opportunities.

Bringing together organisations from all technology streams, the Business SIG encourages collaboration, discussion and the sharing of common business interests, challenges and issues.

Aims of the SIG

  • Address and debate common industry business themes and challenges, e.g. funding options, building and retaining teams, scaling up a business and creating choice and control in your business.
  • Bring expert speakers to events, and actively encourage lively debate and discussion around specific relevant themes and issues.
  • Create a platform to share commercial and business expertise and enable learning between members.
  • Initiate discussion and create a space for learning about current and future business models, with a focus on understanding best market driven approaches to potential partners.
  • Support business owners on their journey to find a business model that works for both their business and fits with their desired lifestyle.

With an anticipated two meetings per annum and additional collaborative events with other SIGs, organisations can share (under Chatham House Rules where necessary) business and marketing expertise and experience so that commercial advantage can be attained by all members.
