Summary
You’ll be responsible for developing systems to capture relevant perceived world data and driving experience from our autonomous vehicles and applying these to enhance our prior maps, thereby supporting a safer and more accurate autonomous driving performance.
In addition, you’ll be developing medium-term planning capabilities to permit route planning using those maps.
Requirements
You will have a good working knowledge and experience of using mapping APIs and mapping systems, such as OpenStreetMap, Here, GIS etc. If you have experience of applying this knowhow to automotive mapping systems and routing algorithms, that would be advantageous.
You’ll have proven software development experience using C/C++, Python, Scala or Java.
You’ll also have a 1st or upper 2nd class degree, or equivalent, in computer science, mathematics, engineering or physical sciences, with a strong mathematics content, from a top university.
