Account Director - Transport

Summary

We are currently recruiting for a highly successful Account Director with a well-established background in the Transport sector to join our dynamic and rapidly growing Telecoms company. You will be responsible for developing a sales pipeline of key Transport Sector clients, building strong relationships and bringing solutions to SSE’s Telecoms customers. The role will primarily involve developing new business, however, there will be an element of account management of existing customers.

Location: Reading, London or remote

Salary: Competitive plus OTE & Benefits

Permanent | Full Time Hours | 37 hours per week

You will collaborate with product management and marketing to ensure that the features, benefits, positioning, and pricing are thoroughly understood by target customers.  Deal sizes will vary, and you will be expected to work comfortably with customers across the spectrum.

Your Skills and Experience

As the Account Director it is essential you have a firm grasp on the UK telecoms market, preferably from the transport business.  As an established, confident and tenacious salesperson, you will have thorough knowledge of current trends, competitor positioning, market dynamics and developments.  You will have an excellent understanding of working within a large matrixed environment to deliver high value proposals and solutions to customers.  Knowledge of strategic selling strategies such as: Miller Heimann, SPIN, TAS, Holden or similar would be advantageous.
