About the Team

The GSMA IT Team are responsible for providing systems and services across the breadth of GSMA’s people and activities.  Covering Staff & Office locations, Business Applications, and Membership & Industry Activities, the team are always looking to bring new and innovative ways of working to life.

About the Role

Providing Administrative duties across the IT Management team, main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to

  • Administration of Communication Tools and Toolsets - Run, Report, Support
  • Raise purchase requests, place orders, track and receive goods
  • Report preparation & distribution – team, programme and project
  • Project administration
  • Manage and administer events
  • General ad-hoc administrative duties

About You

You will be be a good team player with a flexible approach enabling you to work on multiple projects simultaneously.  Alongside this you exhibit:

  • Confidence as a self-starter, and able to work unsupervised
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Confidence in manner and communication style
  • Ability to build rapport with suppliers and colleagues alike
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite
  • Working knowledge of Communications toolsets (WebEx, BlueJeans, Skype)
  • Knowledge of Mobile device set-up (desirable)
  • Understanding of cultural diversity
  • Working knowledge of project management processes and principles (an advantage)
