Digital Catapult has expanded its audio-visual capabilities in response to a changing workplace environment and new business demands. In order to support these changes and growing demands, we are now looking for an experienced Audio-Visual Engineer that can support the existing infrastructure and team as well as offer a view to continually improve our capabilities
What You’ll Do
- Oversee the Audio-Visual network within the Catapult not limited to the auditorium, meeting rooms and our online collaboration tools
- Run audio visual support for high profile hybrid, virtual and physical events
- Mentoring the other members of the AV team upskilling to assist with the running of events
- Assist in architectural design and continual improvement of the Audio-Visual capabilities of the company
- Maintain and improve existing audio-visual documentation
- Ensure we maintain a high quality of service for internal and external events
- Maintain good working relations with 3rd party suppliers and serve as the main point of contact
What We’re Looking For
- You will have experience in running hybrid, physical and virtual events running over a variety of platforms
- Experience of video switching technologies using Crestron, Dante, Dexon and Blackmagic
- Have good troubleshooting and correlation skill for fault finding in a complex IP Audio Visual network
- Be able to work as an audio-visual point of contact within the company and relay key information back to the IT management team
- An in-depth knowledge of new and current changes within the audio-visual events space
- Experience of supporting junior members of the team, helping them to grow within their role.
