Our client, a multi-national technology company that specialises in telecom software solutions, is looking for an experienced C++ Software Engineer to join its development team on a permanent basis. This position can be based remotely, with occasion visits to the office. The post holder will be required to design develop and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.

Our client, a multi-national technology company that specialises in telecom software solutions, is looking for an experienced C++ Software Engineer to join its development team on a permanent basis. This position can be based remotely, with occasion visits to the office. The post holder will be required to design develop and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing platform features in a cloud native environment
- Collaborating closely with global engineering teams
- Undertake all phases of development including requirements definition, design, coding and testing
- Support debugging and issue resolutions for customer escalations
Required skills and experience:
- Significant and proven C++ programming experience
- Python language skills
- Experience on Linux using C++ frameworks
- Experience developing multi-threaded applications on Linux (required)
- Proficiency with Kubernetes in production using Docker containers design
- Ideally some experience with Telecom & Networking protocols
- Solid background with continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) design
