Digital Learning Business Partner

Summary

You will be crucial to support the achievement of organisational objectives and business outcomes by managing the design and creation of industry leading training collateral, to enable digital capability and competence.

As a Digital Learning Business Partner you will be an influential leader who is responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing review of the Digital Learning Strategy for the entire system user community.  You will be crucial to support the achievement of organisational objectives and business outcomes by managing the design and creation of industry leading training collateral, to enable digital capability and competence.   

You will influence communities and steering groups on training strategies to support our organisational objectives and achieve full corporate digital capability.  You will be part of our project management and governance process groups to lead quality and valuable training solutions that are well resourced, planned and managed.  Your expertise will ensure our training approaches consider sustainability and efficiency alongside content matter and the needs of the learners. 

You will be managing the industry research activity and outcomes to ensure that appropriate investment in market products and practices, as well as maintaining a culture of freedom and autonomy to encourage creativity and ownership of content design and development.    

Finally, you will facilitate collaboration across your team and with stakeholders and networks enabling the exploitation and exploration of innovative learning technologies.  

What does it take to be a Digital Learning Business Partner? 

  • Educated to degree level in an IT based subject or relevant work experience obtained in training and learning with a heavy IT focus 

  • Expert knowledge of training strategies, methodologies and technology 

  • Customer relationship management experience and a service improvement background 

  • Experience of performance management of a geographically dispersed team – Lincoln, Huntingdon and Peterborough 

  • Strong leadership skills 

  • Comprehensive digital capability and ability to quickly understand technology 

  • Good planning and organisational skills 

  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances 

  • Strong interpersonal skills to achieve credibility and build positive working relationships  

  • Driving Licence is required.
