Summary
Digital Catapult is looking for an Events Content Executive, who will be working closely with the Marcomms Team and reporting to the Events Content Manager. The role will involve conducting research and planning and executing a portfolio of curated events. You’ll be detail-focused, curious, a self-starting team player who is confident working in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment, ideally with an interest in technology and innovation.
What You’ll Do
- Playing a key role in researching topics, sourcing of speakers and building a database
- Liaise closely with colleagues across the Catapult to assist with the generation of new concepts and event content
- Identifying key platforms and organisations to showcase Digital Catapult’s expertise and impact
- Assisting with the conceptualisation of content and delivering speaker/panel briefings
- Work closely with the Events Content Manager to curate and produce events that support Digital Catapult’s strategy
- Managing events execution (physical, digital and hybrid events) ensuring that event logistics run seamlessly and with a holistic approach including delegate registrations, catering, audio / visual and managing suppliers
- Create and update a resourcing calendar of events
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant experience in corporate events is required, preferably from a technology business
- Previous project management experience is desirable along with strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Prior experience in event content development is desirable but not essential
- Self-confident, Ability to take ownership of own work and work proactively, a knack for problem-solving and with a customer centric approach
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, adaptability and a willingness to work flexibly, and outside of normal office hours on early morning or evening events
