At Samsung Cambridge Solution Centre, we develop world-leading Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity chips that are utilised in millions of devices worldwide. We are looking for a Graduate Engineer to join our Test Automation Support (TAS) team on 04 September 2023. The TAS team is focused on delivering automated systems within the company, be it report generation, results analysis or automating tests for the Software Quality Assurance and Continuous Integration teams. The tools are written as webpages, databases, and standalone scripts, incorporating a range of tools and languages, including Python, Java, Groovy, Jira, Jenkins and Confluence. The team also provides bespoke testing solutions, from sliding rails systems to power measurement breakout boards, utilising the onsite lab including 3D printing and soldering stations. Being a Graduate at Samsung This is a two year fixed-term contract with the chance for you to specialise in multiple disciplines. Every six months there will be a transfer window. During this time, you have the opportunity to transfer to another team or department. This gives you control over your own career path and the choice to decide what skills and knowledge you would like to develop next. We have a wide-variety of technical teams spanning hardware design, software development and testing so each year you could be working on something completely different. But, what if you already love what you’re working on? No worries! You have the choice to remain in your existing role.

What you'll be doing
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Develop, test and deliver new automation systems
- Maintain and support existing systems
- Investigate, debug and fix complex problems
- Conduct peer reviews (Design, Code, Test, and Documentation)
- Document solutions by creating clear user/developer guides

- Degree in a relevant subject

Hiring Process
There are four stages:
- An online coding assessment to complete
- Telephone interview with the hiring manager
- Technical and HR interview (onsite or via video)
- Final interview with some of our Leadership team
