You’ll be providing design and artwork supporting for the business, from concept development through to delivery, of all internal & external communications. Creating exceptional print and digital artwork, while always ensuring it meets the needs of our internal and external customers.

The Role
You will be responsible for print and digital artwork, reporting to Marketing and PR. You will need to have a disciplined approach and demonstrate excellent organisational skills in planning and executing design work and keeping to agreed schedule, working collaboratively across the product design and Marketing & PR teams.

Requirements
Education
A 2:1 degree or similar in graphic design, digital design or similar
Responsibilities
- Assist with the development and maintenance of all marketing communications, digital, and print
- Consistently produce commercial graphic design that meets the customers' requirements, brand guidelines and agreed deadlines
- Responsible for providing concepts, design, and artwork across a variety of projects and media formats, including web as required by the business, with the communication ability to present these ideas to key stakeholders
- Responsible for producing print-ready artwork for all completed design projects, ensuring file/artwork compatibility with relevant printer
- Responsible for providing an ad-hoc photographic resource as requested by the internal team. In addition, image manipulation and sizing within the appropriate software, for any new products, ensuring format and size meet the required specifications
- Communicate realistic timings for each stage of artwork production to stakeholders. Once agreed, responsible for adhering to these deadlines
- Creation of a set of design templates/style guides for the regular work requested that meet the creative needs of the customer, but also provide 'ease of navigation', clear calls to action and branding. Continuously review and evolve these as customer needs develop
- To continually express a flair for design, demonstrating creativity, imagination, and energy
- To be flexible in ways of working to meet and achieve an ever-changing set of priorities as required by the business

Desirable Skills
- Digital design experience for software, web, and mobile applications, as well as print
- Excellent design skills using Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Good understanding of UX principles and best practices

Getting here
There are good road connections and regular buses between the campus and Ipswich and Woodbridge. There is also a regular shuttle bus between the campus and Ipswich railway station for staff and visitor use.
Both Ipswich and Woodbridge offer excellent and convenient facilities and are situated just a short distance away. Ipswich Waterfront, which is only a short distance away from Adastral Park, provides a wide variety of accommodation and entertainment. London is also within easy reach, with regular, direct connections to Liverpool Street station just over an hour away.
Remuneration, hours and benefits
The working week is 40 hours (Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm) with an attractive and negotiable starting salary, plus benefits depending on skills and ability is available.
