Marketing Specialist


Intellegens is seeking to strengthen our Commercial Team as we scale up our scientific software business. We’re looking for an individual who can take responsibility for key marketing projects and activities, be hands-on in implementation, but also contribute strongly to marketing strategy, planning, and project management. In a fast-growing business, there is scope to progress quickly as the team grows and develops. Would suit an energetic early career graduate looking to build a career in hi-tech business, or a more experienced marketeer interested to work in a small, dynamic organisation with an attractive working environment.

About the role

You will:

  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, often built around webinars delivered in collaboration with customers from leading R&D organisations.

  • Build and maintain content for the Intellegens website and drive traffic to the site.

  • Help to plan and implement a digital marketing and social media strategy, publicising Intellegens capabilities to key target audiences and generating connections with prospective customers.

  • Organise the Intellegens presence at conferences, exhibitions, and online events.

  • Create and deliver regular e-newsletters and email marketing material.

  • Generate compelling content – video, case studies, blogs, white papers – in support of these marketing activities.

  • Manage information systems to ensure delivery of quality lead data to our sales team, management of contact information in compliance with relevant regulations, and insightful tracking and reporting of marketing activities.

What makes you our next Marketing Specialist?

You are:

  • Academically strong – qualified to degree level.

  • Able to understand and then explain complex content (any technical/scientific experience would be an advantage).

  • Excellent in written communication – both in short-form (social media posts, blogs) and longer-form (articles, white papers).

  • A ‘digital native’, comfortable with social media (experience of social media campaigns would be an advantage).

  • Happy creating multimedia content – video, presentations, images.

  • Capable of making good design decisions and working with designers to create attractive, brand-consistent marketing materials.

  • Extremely well organised – a strong project and time manager, able to multi-task, accurate, good with spreadsheets and data.

  • A team player – looking forward to working with a range of technical and commercial team-mates, contractors, and customers.
