Link Microtek is a distributor and manufacturer of radio frequency (RF) & microwave components, test instruments and systems.
Based in Basingstoke we have a multi-million pound turnover and employ around 40 staff. We're proud to be in our 25th year of providing market leading solutions to a varierty of high technology customers in the UK and around the world. We have a vacancy for a Sales Engineer to cover existing accounts and to seek out new opportunities in the South of the U.K.
Candidates should ideally possess a HNC/HND/degree in a STEM subject and have some experience of electronic applications in an aerospace, defence, telecoms or other commercial sector. The position would suit technicians or engineers in the relatively early stages of their careers who are looking to move into a customer facing role or those already working in technical sales.
Previous sales experience is not essential but candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, be enthusiastic and self-motivated and driven to succeed in identifying new opportunities as well as developing relationships with existing customers. The role involves travel often outside normal office hours so some flexibility is required. Salary & benefits are negotiable depending on qualifications, experience and what you can bring to Link Microtek.
