I am actively looking for a number of Firmware Engineers to join my client, a multimedia applications company, based in Cambridge.
This opportunity is open to any embedded software engineer with commercial experience post academic studies, developing C++ code at an embedded level. My client offer excellent training and support for junior engineers and endless progression for those of you who are looking to take on more responsibility and leadership.
If successful, you will be responsible for the development of firmware running at SoC level, you will also be working across audio, video and display processing for a range of products and end applications.
Requirements for the role
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Software, Computer Science or similar
- Embedded C++ Programming
- Experience programming and developing at an embedded/firmware level
- Good understanding of embedded Linux and/or RTOS
- ARM microcontrollers
