Senior Legal Counsel


As Legal Counsel, you will provide legal advice to all business units, parent company, subsidiaries and R&D departments located worldwide.

As Legal Counsel, you will provide legal advice to all business units, parent company, subsidiaries and R&D departments located worldwide.
We are looking for a 12-months parental leave replacement starting from September and the position is open as part-time role (maximum 80%).

The position is office based in Berlin, Germany or Cambourne, UK or home office based anywhere in Germany or UK.


  • Review and negotiate contracts (purchase, sale, license, quality, cooperation, lease, R&D), standard terms & conditions
  • Drafting of template contracts.
  • Support the business units with legal solutions for compliance issues (export control, corporate governance of subsidiaries)
  • You will report to the General Counsel.


  • A university degree in law and a minimum of five years of work experience in an international environment, preferably in the automotive or electronics industry
  • Experience in negotiating agreements (in particular sales, purchase and license agreements)
  • The ability to translate complex legal matters into a daily business context and to offer practical legal solutions
  • Industrial business sense
  • Business and target-oriented way of thinking
  • The ability to work autonomously and independently, efficiently, under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Fluency in English and perfect command of English language in writing, other languages are an advantage
  • EU citizen or valid work permit
