We’re a well established and fast-growing custom software consultancy looking for a Lead Software Developer to join us at our HQ in Cambridge. Our team get the opportunity to work with a wide range of customers – from startups through to large enterprises – and the varied projects cover IoT, mobile apps, and full stack development at all levels of scale.
WHAT OUR SOFTWARE DEVELOPERS DO
Our developers support our clients throughout the full software development lifecycle, from capturing requirements through to the successful delivery of projects.
We work on some very cool projects, and they always involve solving interesting problems, for example: architecturing for scale, innovative UI/UX challenges, communication with hardware devices/sensors, efficient approaches to cross-platform solutions, or just solving a challenging business problem with technology.
Following robust and innovative development practices, we deliver quality solutions to our customers using the most appropriate technology to achieve great results. Together we are stronger. Our developers are involved with code reviews and work closely with other team members on projects.
THE SKILLS WE REALLY NEED FROM YOU
Required: Fast Learner, JavaScript (ES6), Node, SQL (MySQL/Postgres), HTML5/CSS3.
Important: AWS Experience (not just EC2 and S3), Sass/Less, Front end frameworks, Test frameworks, Docker, Kubernetes, NoSQL, TypeScript, happy to meet customers.
Useful: React Native, GCP Experience, React / Vue.js / Angular 2, Python, Android and/or iOS Native.
Above all, you will need to be able to pick up new languages and technologies quickly.
