As a Senior Python Software Engineer you will play an important role as part of a team of Python Developers in a quickly growing start-up in Cambridge. As a Senior Software Engineer in a team of industry experts you will have the chance to develop and progress your career quickly, primarily developing Python based software in a Linux environment.
This role is open to ANY talented Software Engineers, C++, C#, Java or any OOP language with SOME Python experience who have a desire to progress their career in the direction of Python software development in an ambitious team, while solving interesting problems and also enjoying an excellent work-life balance.
Key Skills:
- Experience in object-oriented programming (Python ideal)
- Analysing user requirements
- Ability to solve complicated development issues
- Creating technical specifications and test plans
- Writing, organising and driving maintainable coding practices
- Familiar with TDD, BDD, Component and integration tests
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix environment
You will have immediate responsibility across the full Software Development process including analysing user requirements, writing robust and organised code and developing automated test suites and systems. You may be faced with challenging development issues and will need to be self-motivated and be able to think logically to solve problems.
