Arm's talented team of Product Managers is responsible for addressing the growing demands of Arm infrastructure solutions and software for the data center.

As a Senior Software Product Manager, you will be responsible for the software strategy and roadmap for all Networking and Container software solutions. You will collaborate closely with Arm's ecosystem of silicon partners, OEMs and network operators. Your role is to identify, collect and prioritize requirements for software enablement and optimization while developing strategies to implement those requirements using internal engineering resources and/or working together with the broader Arm ecosystem.
You will engage on an ongoing basis with our partners to help drive technology solutions that deliver on our vision and strategy. You will serve as a key member of Arm's Product Delivery process.

What will I be accountable for?

As a Senior Software Product Manager in the Infrastructure Line of Business you will target the strategic delivery of software products for the Networking and Telecom industries.
Key to the role is solid understanding of software development process and an ability to engage with key decision makers, both internally and externally.
This includes ability to highlight the advantages of the Arm software ecosystem, as well as being able to position it against the competition.
Accountabilities Include:
Owning the vision and specific roadmap for software enablement and optimization of Networking software, evolving around Arm IP and architecture
Ownership of Arm’s Container strategy and roadmap for software product delivery
Working closely with architects, technology leads and our internal software engineering teams, as part of the software development lifecycle
Accountable for the entire requirements engineering process: from product requirements elicitation, prioritization and requirements documentation
Engaging with Arm end-customers, silicon partners, OEM manufacturers and systems software vendors to gather market segment needs and translate these into specific product plans
Performing competitive analysis and identify the strengths and weaknesses of Arm-based solutions versus the competition
Developing business cases for proposed features and articulating the value proposition
Evangelizing Arm in open source software communities
Work with our Go-to-Market and Product Marketing teams to support specific opportunities, including participating in customer Job Requirements
What skills, experience, and qualifications do I need?

Essential:

Technical background with Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Mathematics/Software Engineering or other technical discipline preferred, although other degrees would be considered with relevant professional experience.
Minimum of 3 years of technical sales, marketing or software product management.
Experience in delivering software to customers in the networking or infrastructure space, which would include an understanding of networking standards and networking software stacks.
Skills in the creation and management of software requirements.
Ability to express ideas and communicate effectively with other team members, customers and suppliers - formulating and executing on strategy.
Proven experience in collaborating with R&D teams and deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Experience in working with one or more open source communities.
Motivation to work in an environment with cross-functional and globally distributed teams.
The ability to travel at least 25% (may involve international travel).
Desirable:
Minimum of 5 years of product management experience preferable in software product management.
High-level understanding of networking software
Software development experience, including experience with enterprise application development
Proficient understanding of the semiconductor market
