Nokia Standards collaborates with internal and external experts to advance the state-of-the-art technology landscape as well as to protect Nokia's intellectual property. We are looking for ambitious and highly engaged colleagues to join Nokia's 3GPP RAN WG1 delegation as part of our global Standardization & Industry Environment Team.
Are you passionate about solving problems? As part of our team, you will:
- Contribute with your 5G physical layer skills to the development of future 5G-Advanced and 6G radio technology
- Work with a world class team to drive the evolution of 5G-Advanced and 6G radio technology
- Develop radio standardization specifications in the area of 5G-Advanced physical layer, and eventually 6G
- Create inventions and intellectual property (IPR's) and support strengthening of Nokia IPR portfolio
- Contribute to and participate in 3GPP standardization meetings for 3GPP RAN WG1
- Contribute to and participate in customer and partner dialogues on latest trends in wireless technology and standardization
You have:
- MSc degree or PhD with strong knowledge of 5G physical layer and understanding how 5G system works
- Willingness to grow as a physical layer radio expert for 5G-Advanced and 6G areas
- Fluent spoken English and proficiency in technical writing are essential
It would be nice if you also had:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a multi-national and distributed team, as well as strong self-motivation
- Experience in 3GPP standardization or working with 3GPP radio specifications
- Experience of link and/or system-level simulations
- A track record of innovation
