To further strengthen that leadership into the future, we are looking to expand our world-leading standardization team in the following technical areas of 5G standardization:
• 5G Layer 1
• 5G RF and RRM
• 5G Radio Protocols

To further strengthen that leadership into the future, we are looking for standardization experts.

 

In particular your responsibilities will include:

Representing Nokia in standardization as part of the Nokia delegation, on global, regional and national levels;

Participating in standards-related research and in the process of creating Nokia’s standardization strategy;

Driving Nokia’s position on standardization-related questions in conjunction with other internal stakeholders such as Research and Product R&D;

Engaging with customers and other ecosystem partners in the standardization process;

Developing, and overseeing the development of, standards contributions and change requests;

As appropriate, taking up leadership roles in the standardization process.

    • 5G Layer 1
    • 5G RF and RRM
    • 5G Radio Protocols

Experience and Qualifications:

  • A strong system background in one or more of the technical areas highlighted in the description above
  • A Masters degree or PhD
  • A good understanding of product solutions & portfolios, and of wireless business strategy
  • Experience in standardization
  • A proven track record in inventions and innovation
  • Experience of working in a multi-national and distributed environment
  • Fluent English is essential
