This Senior Systems Engineer vacancy is based in Cambridge, UK with my client who develops low-power wireless connectivity solutions for the IoT ( Internet of Things ) sector. As a Senior Systems Engineer part of your primary responsibilities would be in the discovery of new algorithms, modelling in MATLAB for standards such as WiFi and Bluetooth, debugging, doing performance diagnostics and participating in the research to improve on current wireless standards.

An eligible Senior Systems Engineer will have a MSc or PhD and several years’ industry experience in;
- Design of signal processing algorithms for low-power wireless standards, such as WiFi or Bluetooth
- PHY / Physical Layer research and / or development of wireless standards
- Floating point & fixed point implementation
- MATLAB and C programming
